Billing & Plans
Everything about plans, pricing, the free trial, upgrading, cancelling, and managing your subscription.
Plans overview
All plans include the same core features — all order types, real-time copy, cross-broker support, ratios, and sync toggles. The difference between plans is how many broker connections and accounts you can use in copy groups.
ℹ️ Note
Free trial
Every new account starts on a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to sign up. During the trial you get full access to the platform with up to 2 broker connections and 5 accounts per connection.
Full platform access — all features, all order types
2 broker connections (Tradovate or ProjectX)
5 accounts per connection in copy groups
No credit card required
14 days from the date you sign up
What happens when the trial ends
When your 14-day trial expires, your account status changes to Expired and trade copying stops. Your groups, connections, and all settings are preserved — nothing is deleted. To resume, go to Settings → Subscription and subscribe to any plan.
💡 Tip
Annual vs monthly billing
Every paid plan offers both monthly and annual billing. Annual billing saves you approximately 20% — the equivalent of getting over 2 months free. The annual amount is charged as a single payment upfront.
ℹ️ Note
How to subscribe
You can subscribe at any point during your trial, or after your trial has expired.
Go to Settings (top-right menu) and click the Subscription tab.
Choose Monthly or Annual billing.
Click Subscribe on the plan you want.
You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout — enter your card details there.
After payment, you'll be redirected back automatically. Your subscription is active immediately.
ℹ️ Note
Changing or downgrading your plan
Once you have an active subscription, all plan changes are made through the Stripe Customer Portal — not directly in the SyncMyTrade app. To open it, go to Settings → Subscription and click Manage Billing.
Upgrading
The new plan takes effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, then the full new plan price on your next renewal date.
Downgrading
The change is scheduled for the end of your current billing period. Until then you keep your current plan's limits. A pending plan change banner will appear in Settings showing the switch date.
Switching billing period
You can switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa) in the Stripe portal. The change takes effect at your next renewal.
⚠️ Important
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing. Cancellation is handled in the Stripe portal.
When you cancel, your subscription is set to cancel at period end — you keep full access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Your Settings page will show a Cancels at period end badge.
Full access continues until the end of the paid period
Your groups, connections, and settings are preserved
Open positions are never closed automatically — you stay in control
Trade copying stops when the billing period ends
SyncMyTrade does not issue refunds for unused time on the current period
Reactivating after cancellation
If you change your mind before the period ends, you can undo the cancellation in the Stripe portal — your subscription will resume as normal. If the period has already ended, go to Settings → Subscription and subscribe again. All your previous groups and settings will still be there.
Payment failed / past due
If a renewal payment fails, your subscription status changes to Past Due. Stripe will automatically retry the payment over the next few days. During this time your subscription remains active and trade copying continues.
To resolve a payment failure immediately, go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing and update your payment method in the Stripe portal. Once the payment is collected, your status returns to Active automatically.
⚠️ Important
Invoices & receipts
All invoices and payment receipts are available in the Stripe Customer Portal. To access them, go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing. Stripe sends an automatic email receipt to your account email address after every successful payment.
