Can I use a third-party
trade copier with Tradeify?
Yes, on their terms. Tradeify states that if you choose to use third-party trade copiers, you do so at your own risk, that they are not responsible for errors those tools cause, and that supporting such issues is outside their scope. They do not ban them; they hand you the responsibility.
What is permitted matters just as much. Tradeify allows copying only between accounts you own and manage. Copying other people’s strategies, or copy trading with others, is not permitted — so a copier is for running your own accounts, not for following someone else.
Prop firm rules change. Review Tradeify’s current guidelines before you rely on any of this.
Which Tradeify accounts actually work?
Sign in on Tradovate’s own page and your accounts import automatically. Tradeify’s NinjaTrader and TradingView options run on this same connection, so orders placed there are copied like any other.
Connect with the Tradeify-issued username and password, plus your system and gateway. Tradeify notes that all its Rithmic-based platforms — Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart and R|Trader among them — use the same Rithmic credentials, so it is the account that connects, not the chart you happen to use. Sign your Rithmic agreements once first.
WealthCharts is operated separately and uses its own login rather than Tradeify’s Tradovate or Rithmic credentials. SyncMyTrade does not connect to it. Check which platform your account is on before subscribing.
Copying your Tradeify accounts
in six steps.
Tradeify accounts sit on Tradovate, on Rithmic, or on WealthCharts. The first two connect to SyncMyTrade; WealthCharts does not.
Tradovate accounts connect by signing in on Tradovate's own page. Rithmic accounts use the Tradeify-issued username and password, plus your system and gateway.
Every account on that login appears automatically — evaluation and funded alike. There is nothing to add one at a time.
Choose the Tradeify account you intend to trade by hand. That is the only account you place orders on.
Select the accounts that should mirror it and give each a whole-number ratio from 1x to 10x.
Turn the group on and trade your leader. Orders replicate to every active follower, and any account can be toggled out of sync at any time.
Tradeify already gives you
Group Trade on Tradovate.
If every account you run is on one Tradovate login and you trade plain entries, the built-in feature may be all you need. Four places where it stops, according to Tradeify’s own guide:
Tradeify's own guide states that bracket orders (ATM strategies) cannot be used during Group Trading. SyncMyTrade copies brackets and OCO orders on every paid plan, with the take-profit and stop-loss legs tracked on the follower.
Tradeify notes that the Exit All Positions / Cancel All button affects only the account you have selected, not the whole group. Session Lock in SyncMyTrade halts copying across the group, cancels working orders and flattens open positions.
Group Trade copies between accounts on one Tradovate login. If some Tradeify accounts are on Tradovate and others on Rithmic, they cannot share a Tradovate group. In SyncMyTrade they can sit in the same copy group.
Each follower in SyncMyTrade carries its own whole-number ratio from 1x to 10x and its own sync toggle, so a leader trading one contract can put one on a smaller account and three on a larger one.
What SyncMyTrade does
and does not do.
Yes, on the Tradovate and Rithmic connections. One account leads and the others follow, each with its own ratio and its own sync toggle.
Yes. Copying happens in the cloud, so it keeps running whether or not your computer is on. There is nothing to install.
Yes. Continuous leader–follower integrity checks compare each follower against the leader and act when a mismatch is detected.
No, and Tradeify says so plainly: if you use a third-party copier you do so at your own risk, they are not responsible for errors it causes, and supporting it is outside their scope.
No. Tradeify permits copying only between accounts you own and manage, and prohibits copying other people's strategies. SyncMyTrade is built for copying your own accounts.
